What Should You Do After A Car Accident?

Alcohol a Factor in Deadly Casino Bus Crash

Posted on October 6th, 2008 No Comments

Police have been unraveling a complicated story since the bus accident outside Sacramento, CA that killed 10 people at put 35 more in the hospital. First, it appeared to be a casino bus, transporting passengers down Lone Star Lane to the Colusa Casino near Williams. However, the owner of that casino states they were not expecting any bus and had not heard anything from the company’s owner, not even after the crash. The bus’s out of state plates and invalid registration made it all the harder to track down the people responsible.

As of today, the California Highway Patrol has two facts to report: the bus was owned by Daniel E. Cobbs of Sacramento, whom the police have been unable to contact. Additionally the bus driver, Quienten Joey Watts, age 52, was allegedly intoxicated at the time of the accident. Once he is finished being treated at the Woodland Memorial Hospital, he will be arrested for suspected DUI.
