TX Woman and Son Named in Personal Injury Suit

by Administrator 14. November 2008 12:11
Margaret Mills, age 67 of Waco, Texas, already had legal difficulties before her son Richard Coke Mills III was involved in a car accident on April 30. She was already on trial for third-degree felony theft related to her former job as executive director of Downtown Waco Inc. Now she and her son are facing a lawsuit filed by Matthew Short and Nicole Short after the younger Mills injured their son in a traffic accident while driving his mother's car. Richard Coke Mills III is also facing charges of drunk driving. According to her attorney, the lawsuit is a "friendly" one, the kind that must be filed when a child is injured so the court can appoint an attorney for him or her. If you or a loved one has been injured by a reckless or intoxicated driver, contact Jacksonville drunk driver injury lawyer Don Guthrie at 904-493-6455.
