Evenflo Co. Inc. has announced a voluntary recall of its Majestic High Chair products after being alerted to problems with their construction. Over 95,000 of these chairs have already been distributed around the country. Any family who owns one is encouraged to return it to the store, as it could pose a safety hazard to children. Evenflo has received over 1,000 complaints about the chairs, mostly concerning loose parts that can fall off without warning. Dozens of children have been injured so far when the backs of their chairs fell away, causing them to fall to the the floor. No fatalities have been reported so far, but children have suffered from bruised heads and broken bones. The chairs were assembled in China and have been sold in several nationwide chain stores such as Toys "R" Us and Shopko. Sebring, FL -- On her way out of a shopping mall parking lot, Lisa Kern got an unexpected addition to her holiday shopping journey as her Ford SUV was struck by a Chevrolet truck driven by Sebring local Ronald Owen.
