On Thursday,  a Winter Haven, Florida woman was charged and connected with a hit and run accident that left a motorcyclist in critical condition on Monday.  The woman, Laura Teresa Madrigal, was charged with the connection to the accident after police pulled over her vehicle.  During the traffic stop, officers found that her vehicle matched the description and had damages consistent with the accident on Monday.

The woman initially denied it, but then later admitted to being involved in the accident.  The woman has been charged with a third degree felony.   The victim from the accident is still injured, but he is improving.   The hospital has said that his condition has improved from critical to stable.  The accident was caused when the woman pulled in front of the motorcyclist with her van.  The motorcyclist struck the vehicle then went off the road.
