Young Woman Says She is Guilty in 2007 DUI Death

A young woman from Gulfport pleaded guilty to driving intoxicated and fleeing the scene in a 2007 accident.  The woman was intoxicated when she caused an accident that killed a 56 year-old man.  

The woman was 23 years-old when the accident occurred.  She had left the Biloxi casino after a couple of drinks, and then was involved in an accident on I-10 in Gulfport.  

Sentencing for the crime will occur on April 6th.  The woman will be held in jail until that time. The woman faces several years in prison from the multiple charges of driving under the influence and hit-and-run charges.
