On Thursday afternoon, a Florida Highway Patrol trooper was involved in a crash on I-4. The trooper had pulled a vehicle over around 5pm, and while he was taking information from the driver, another car rear ended it.

The trooper was taken to Halifax Health Medical Center by helicopter and is expected to make a full recovery after several surgeries. The driver of the pulled over car was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, and the other driver was airlifted to the hospital in critical but stable condition.
