What Should You Do After A Car Accident?

Two boating accidents over Labor Day weekend

Sunday September 5th, a Jacksonville man was killed in a tragic boating accident on Kinsley Lake.  The man, 31-year old Edgar A. Roche, was planing an eight-foot Bombardier personal watercraft when he ran into the bow of a docked 18-foot Hurricane deck boat.  The owner of the docked boat pulled Roche to shore and tried to perform CPR on him.  Roche was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Another accident occurred on Hampton Lake on Saturday afternoon when 13-year old Kent Winton of Jacksonville was riding on a tube attached to the back of the personal watercraft his father was driving.  Winton was injured after his tube ran into a dock on the lake.  Winton's father and uncle pulled him out of the water and emergency officials took him to Shands at the University of Florida for treatment.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of the man lost in the tragic boat accident.
