What Should You Do After A Car Accident?

South Florida teen injured in bicycle accident

Posted on September 27th, 2010 No Comments

Last Thursday evening, a South Florida teen was injured in a bicycle accident on his way to football practice.  The boy, 15-year old Ken Morris, was riding his bike along David Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale when he was struck by a bus at Southwest 29th Terrace.

"The thing that basically saved him was the football pads, should pads, thigh pads those things.  One of the people that was on the bus said the bus driver wasn't really paying that much attention, and she crossed over a little too far into the bike lane," stated Morris' uncle.

EMS crews transported Morris to Broward General Medical Center for broken foot bones and bruising on his ribs.
