An officer from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office driving an unmarked vehicle collided with another car just before 8pm Tuesday.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Blanding Blvd. and Collins Rd. According to Lt. Bill Leeper with the Florida Highway Patrol, the driver of the other vehicle suffered neck and back injuries.
The man driving the other car was T-Boned by the JSO officer as he was crossing Collins Road. The driver claims that his car spun after being hit and collided with a third vehicle.
