Posted on April 26th, 2012 No Comments

A former NFL player for the Atlanta Falcons was found dead in his home last week after suffering from a self-inflicted gun shot wound. Ray Easterling was one of the former NFL players who was involved in a concussion lawsuit against the organization and his death may change the route of the lawsuits.

Easterling was involved in a lawsuit with six other former NFL players that stated that the organization was careless in treating football players that suffered from concussions and this lead them to suffer from serious head injuries later in life.

Sources close to Easterling have stated that he has been struggling mentally for nearly six months. His death may change the course lawsuits from personal injury to wrongful death.
