Early Saturday morning, a three-vehicle accident in Tampa left one dead and two injured.

According to Florida State Highway Patrol officials, around 2:30 AM 28-year old Moris Rakaj of Clearwater slammed into a Saturn Sky in front of him on W. Hillsborough Avenue, driven by 38-year old Jeffrey T. Marcus.  Rakaj continued into the eastbound lanes after the collision and was struck by a Toyota Corolla driven by 60-year old Michael Hayden.  

Rakaj was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.  Hayden was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital in serious condition and Marcus was taken to Town 'N' Country Hospital with minor injuries.

Two teens were killed and the rest of their family was sent to the hospital after a tragic car accident while the family was traveling on a family vacation.

An 18-year-old and 16-year-old were killed in the accident that occurred around 4:30 p.m. A 12-year-old family member was flown to the hospital in Jacksonville after suffering leg injuries in the accident.

According to officials, the family was riding in an SUV when the back rear tire blew out causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle. The car the flipped and crashed into a tree. The mother and father were also transported to the hospital, but have both been released.

Car accidents can happen unexpectedly and cause serious injury to everyone involved, our thoughts are with the friends and family of the victims in the accident.

KBTX reports that Coach Joe Kines' daugher was killed in a fatal car accident on Monday in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Kines' daughter, Susana Kines Langston, was 43-years-old. " His two grandsons, Matthew and Joshua, were injured in the crash as well,"writes KBTX.

Hines has coached all over throughout his career. In addition to working for Texas A&M and Alabama's football programs, he also coached, "at Florida State, Georgia, Arkansas, Florida, Clemson and Jacksonville State. He also served four years in the NFL working with the Tampa Bay Buccaneer linebackers from 1987-90," according to KBTX.

The funeral services for his daughter have not been scheduled yet.

Four people were injured in a car accident over the weekend. According to police reports, the accident occurred on Beaver Street near Baldwin. 

The accident occurred when one vehicle lost control, hit a guardrail, and crashed into a car driving in the other driection. When medical officials arrived, the four people injured in the accident were taken to a nearby hosptial for treatment. 

A man from St. Augustine was injured in a car accident Sunday. According to police reports, the accident occurred on State Road 13 near Shands Jacksonville. 

The man was driving north on the road when he apparently lost control of his vehicle. The car hit a culvert and a tree before coming to a stop. The impact from the accident caused the man to be thrown from the car.

A man was killed in a one-vehicle car accident Sunday. According to police reports, the accident occurred on Normandy Boulevard in Jacksonville.

The man's car apparently swerved off the road and into a ditch before turning over. When medical officials arrived, the man was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
