A man was killed in a one-vehicle car accident Sunday. According to police reports, the accident occurred on Normandy Boulevard in Jacksonville.

The man's car apparently swerved off the road and into a ditch before turning over. When medical officials arrived, the man was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

A driver died in a car accident Saturday morning. According to police reports, the accident occurred on Interstate 295 in Jacksonville. 

The driver apparently was speeding when he lost control of his car. The vehicle spun off the road and hit a guardrail, causing the driver to be ejected from the vehicle. When medical officials arrived, the driver was pronounced dead and a passenger was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

One person was killed and another suffered injuries in a Jacksonville car accident Wednesday. According to police reports, the accident occurred at North Peral and West Union. 

The accident apparently occurred in the intersection where a truck hit the driver side of a car. The impact caused both vehicles to crash through the fence and into the side of a building. The driver of the car was killed in the accident, while the passenger was injured and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Law enforcement authorities in Lakeline, Florida reported that a hit-an-run accident occurred at 7:30 a.m. this morning on Winter Lake road at Reynolds road. Following the accident, the roads remained open and authorities have not yet released details about the incident. The accident was one of two reported traffic incidents in Lakeline this morning. Authorities have not released information about any of the victims or injuries sustained in the collisions.

A young 5-year-old girl was recently killed in a single vehicle accident on a Florida turnpike Saturday evening.

The accident was said to have occurred when the driver of a mini-van lost control of the vehicle.  The driver then over-corrected the vehicle causing it to go off the road and strike a guard rail.  After striking the guard rail, the vehicle overturned on its side.  This caused two passengers in the rear of the vehicle to be ejected. 

The young girl was killed at the scene of the accident.   Three other occupants of the vehicle were rushed to a hospital for treatment of their injuries.

A motorcyclist travelling through Jacksonville was injured in an accident.  According to reports,  the motorcyclist was attempting to pass another vehicle when the vehicle made a un-signaled change of lanes.  The vehicle struck the side of the motorcycle and ejected the motorcycle rider.  The motorcycle rider was launched for nearly 30 years on the ground according to reports.  Paramedics were called to the scene of the accident. Traffic was diverted to allow emergency crews to respond to the accident.

The paramedics attempted to rush the man to the hospital,  however he was pronounced dead at arrival at the hospital.
