A motorcyclist travelling through Jacksonville was injured in an accident.  According to reports,  the motorcyclist was attempting to pass another vehicle when the vehicle made a un-signaled change of lanes.  The vehicle struck the side of the motorcycle and ejected the motorcycle rider.  The motorcycle rider was launched for nearly 30 years on the ground according to reports.  Paramedics were called to the scene of the accident. Traffic was diverted to allow emergency crews to respond to the accident.

The paramedics attempted to rush the man to the hospital,  however he was pronounced dead at arrival at the hospital.
