Three Vehicle Accident in Jacksonville

A three vehicle car accident recently took place in Jacksonville.  According to reports,   the accident occurred Monday afternoon. 

Authorities believe that the driver of a Dodge Ram failed to yield the right of way when attempting to cross an intersection.  The Dodge Ram then struck a PT Cruiser as it attempted to cross the intersection.  The driver of the PT Cruiser was injured in the collision.  Shortly after hitting the PT Cruiser,  the Dodge Ram struck a Ford Escort causing damage to the front of both vehicles.

The drivers in all vehicles were taken to hospitals for medical treatment and evaluation.  

The driver of the Dodge Ram is being cited with failure to yield the right of way in the incident.
