Truck Accident Closes Texas Highway

by Administrator 16. September 2008 10:09
A truck jackknifed early this morning on State Highway 114 near the 121 North exit. The accident was reported to police around four in the morning. According to Grapevine police, the truck turned on its side and spilled fuel across the highway. In the interest of public safety fire fighters shut down the eastbound lanes while they cleaned the spill. Traffic was diverted onto a service road. It took about two hours for the mess to be cleaned and the road to re-open. No deaths or serious injuries have been reported. Victims of truck accidents are not always so lucky.
