Two seventeen year-old teenage friends have been killed over the weekend in an accident after the car they were in slammed into a fence and over turned.

Officials responded to the scene of the accident to offer aid, and the two teenagers were air lifted to the Lee Memorial Hospital.  The two were pronounced dead at the Lee Memorial Hospital after the accident.

The case still remains under investigation, and authorities are unsure who was driving at the time.  Both individuals were not wearing their seatbelts, which likely contributed to the severity of the accident.
