A young 5-year-old girl was recently killed in a single vehicle accident on a Florida turnpike Saturday evening.

The accident was said to have occurred when the driver of a mini-van lost control of the vehicle.  The driver then over-corrected the vehicle causing it to go off the road and strike a guard rail.  After striking the guard rail, the vehicle overturned on its side.  This caused two passengers in the rear of the vehicle to be ejected. 

The young girl was killed at the scene of the accident.   Three other occupants of the vehicle were rushed to a hospital for treatment of their injuries.
